Cure for the Monday Blues #19

After my win for the last Cure for the Monday Blues challenge (you can see the card HERE) I felt really motivated to play again - thanks Taheera! What really captured me in the inspiration photo was the globe - as soon as I saw it I knew exactly what to make - I just had to wait for my new order from My Favorite Things....and I got it in time!

So without further ado - here is my card:

I also incorporated the wood ceiling and the banner on the wall. And all the other colors you can find them in the picture as well.

I mounted the white card stock panel onto chipboard to give it more substance and dimension. The patterned wood paper is from Michaels. I made the little banners with Washi tape.

I leaned on the sketch from the STAMPlorations challenge - there is still time to play, but you have to hurry, time is running out!
I am also linking this card with the Simon Says Wednesday challenge - Anything goes

I really like your card! I don't own a globe stamp (yet!), so I was unable to go in this direction with my card. I think you captured the feel of the inspiration photo perfectly! (Congratulations on your win last week!)

Fun take on the photo inspiration Cornelia.
I'm just waiting for my glossy accents to dry on my MUSE card before I can take a photo.(I don't have any glossy black dots!) :)

Way to go with your previous Cure for the Monday Blues win, and I'm calling winner winner with this one as well! Brilliant take: your globe and sentiment are so eye-catching on their tilted 'ceiling inspired' paper! Fabulous!

Nice card, Cornelia. The woodgrain background is very effective.

Thanks for visiting and leaving such a nice comment. I am glad you like my pizza box! Unfortunately my health does sometimes prevent me from getting into my studio but I do what I can.

Hope you are having a good weekend.

Perfect choice of stamp set for the globe from the inspiration!! I love how you added your panel at an angle to mimic the feel of the room, and love the addition of the woodgrain patterned paper too! Thanks so much for playing to find a Cure For The Monday Blues!
